Early 20th century hand carved Indian box
We share what we love, and we love the detail of this hand carved Indian box, likely to have been used to store cigarettes at some point. Covered in ornate floral designs, the detail is superb and amazingly the top section is carved from one section of wood.
Size of inches of box: H 3” x W 7.5” x D 4.5”
Age: 1920 - 1940
Completely solid in structure and form, Natural aging across all surfaces, the wood material has a deep natural patination across it. An aged antique item so please expect this in the condition as the photos aim to show.
