19^th Century Salesman’s Miniature Coffin Example  

A late 19^th Century English salesman’s miniature coffin. Made from hand carved sections and secured with brass pins. This model is exceptionally made to replicate what a real coffin would look like to a potential buyer. The item is hollow however there is something inside which we cannot make out, as the carved cross on the top is too small to look inside, it could be a coin or something. The hinged brass handles are also very well made as shown and firmly in place.
