Early 20th Century Syrian Mother of Pearl Side Table
We are proud to offer a wonderful example of a Syrian mother of pearl, bone, and parquetry inlaid hardwood octagonal side table with hidden storage section.
Size in inches approx.: H 22” x W 16” x D 16”
Period: Early 20th Century
Material: Wood and bone
Origin: Syrian / Damascus
Condition: Good
Completely solid in structure and form, aged naturally, Fading, and missing inlaid sections across sections of the surface. For an item that is close to 80 years old this is in overall good condition. The hidden compartment has been lined with red velvet more recently.
This is an aged object so expect age related wear as the photos aim to show however it is exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas on this piece.
