Solid oak.. sturdy, solidly constructed with this beautiful detailing to the 'skirt' and the legs. I have never seen a table like this before. The table has ideal dimensions to be used as a dining table or it would be suitable too to be used as a decorative console table or kitchen work table. It would certainly make a statement. We have check that adult legs will fit underneath the skirt and they do. Marry with modern, metal or upholstered chairs.. actually any type matches this simply stunning table.
