Item Description
Very beautiful Belgian dressing scene. Art nouveau, so dating late 19th Century to very early 20th Century. Made from wood; one side has a brass and copper repoussé overlay, the other side, the wood has been etched by hand. It has been completely reupholstered using a stunning quality velvet whose colour changes with the light. As you can see from the last photo, it has been trimmed with hand made double piping in the same fabric.
