Item Description
A charming pair of small, early 19th century, Wedgwood lilac jasper dip plaques. Both plaques are marked “WEDGWOOD” and they date from c.1820. Each plaque is decorated, in white relief, with one of “The Dancing Hours”. The reliefs are lovely quality, with beautiful translucency, and the plaques are in excellent condition. They are in their original gilt wood frames which do have some faults and have been touched up but not restored.
