Item Description
This lovely double-sided, hanging Kodak tin sign shows the iconic logo and colour scheme of one of the world's largest film/camera companies. This particular sign dates to the 1960s ... the slightly later litho-printed tin version of the same sign the company produced in enamel around a decade earlier.
These tin signs are inherently more vulnerable than their enamel counterparts, but this example has survived the decades well. Both sides retain bright and vibrant colours. There are some losses to the surfaces on both - one slightly more than the other but nothing that affects the sign's legibility. The original hanging loops remain present and functional, there are no bends, dents or creasing and the sign displays well.
The sign measures 61cm / 2' wide x 46cm / 18" high (excluding the hanging loops).
