Item Description
Description: Original, quality, set of eight matching late 18th or early 19th Century cow horn chest of drawers knobs. With their original brass threaded bars with hand-cut nuts and decorative Mother of Pearl inlays to the face of the knobs. This set is embossed to the bottom edge of the knobs "J&T Deakin's Patent" and there is a decorative, finely turned border pattern running under the bun handle. A super set, complete and rare to find.
Condition: Very good. Only very slight signs of wear from age and use. Two of the threaded bolts have been cut shorter, if the length were needed they could be recessed into a drawer of cupboard door back.
