A rare pair of Danish wall lights by Svend Aage for Holm Sorensen.
Model no. 5201
Denmark, c. 1960.
Svend Aage was a renowned Danish designer best known for his contribution to the Danish mid century modernist movement.
His work was characterised by his brutalist, naturalistic designs that involved torch cut materials like brass.
This pair of brass “daisy” wall lights have a single bulb holder hidden behind the central part of the daisy giving a backlit appearance - they are really stunning and the photos don’t do them justice, in my opinion!
Excellent condition, supplied professionally rewired for the UK.
