Item Description
A wonderful set of Victorian tiger bamboo shelves.
Part of the Aesthetic Movement, so dating to late 19th century.
The sides, and shelves are lined with the original rattan.
It’s a fairly substantial piece (quite heavy!) so can accommodate books on all three shelves.
The top has historic stains but could easily be covered in your choice of fabric, but just adds to the piece.
Antique bamboo adds a lovely texture to homes and this has a very warm feel to it.
