About the Artist: Henri Andre Martin [1918-2004] French Artist. Born in Lyon, from a very young age, his passion was painting, but, giving in to family influence, he chose medicine, While becoming a renown surgeon, he divided his time between Medicine and Art Prizes and Distinctions include the Maurice Utrillo Prize 1964 and a medal of honor from the Lyon Society of Fine Arts. Member of the Salon du Sud-Est until his death in 2004. Salon of Drawing and Watercolour,Paris. Member of the Salon of the National Society of Fine Arts, Paris. Member of the Salon d’Automne, Paris He participated in numerous exhibitions in French and foreign renown galleries (Paris, New York, Frankfurt, Dallas, Geneva, etc.).
