Item Description
Large wooden scientific laboratory work station. Salvaged from The University of Manchester, dating from early 1900s. Well worn, authentic patina retained with our sympathetic restoration. Ideal for kitchen islands or as a shared workspace. Large practical piece with great storage.
The piece retains the original antique brass cup handles with label holders on the drawers and the lower cupboard handles with loop and latch fittings. Some of the brass hardware has been lost in places.
The lower cupboards are recessed to allow for seating and stools to be added.
The original end panels have since been added. Although they are not shown in these images.
