Superb large & heavy antique English copper cheese vat, now the perfect planter or even a log box in the winter months. Early 1900s in date. Thick heavy gauge copper & extremely well made originally with flush cramped castellated joints, still watertight so drainage holes will need to be made in the base if planting up. Great time aged depth of colour & patina. Approximately 14 inches in height & 20 inches in diameter (handle tip to tip is 24 inches), weighs just over 15 kilograms. A beautiful old copper vat with loads of character.
