Item Description
A set of 12 stylish vintage French linen damask napkins. Excellent quality linen with a flamboyant pattern to the damask. I have hand dyed this set in a rich, warm dark olivey green (colour looks a little grey/cooler shade on my screen). I love to dye damask, it really brings the wonderful patterns of the weave alive.
CG/GC monograms to the centre of each napkin and simple hand turned hems, all hand stitched - a very stylish set. This set dates to the 1930s-40s.
In excellent vintage condition with no wear or damage.
