This sheet is delightful, the applique decoration is so very pretty. But it is the beautiful smooth fine quality linen that I love the most, it's just wonderful!
It will be fabulous to sleep under or what a beautiful curtain it'll make, billowing at a window. I think I would have to use this as a sheet, it's just heavenly but the choice is yours, maybe both, depending on the season!
A fine white pure linen sheet with applique decoration and monogram. This sheet has one of my favourite details, something that speaks of a top quality piece - the bottom hem is finished with a very fine drawn thread hem which takes considerably longer to create than just a standard turned hem. And yet it would most likely only be seen by the maid.
Freshly laundered and ready for use.
There are small darns scattered about and one group of darns as shown. In general the linen is strong and I'd be using it as a sheet with no reservations. The fine linen does often have small repairs in it; just part of the life of a vintage piece. Price accordingly, of course.
