What can I say? This is an absolute stunner, an exceptional piece. These do not come along very often and certainly not in such excellent condition.
This is a fabulous sheet, it dates to the very early 1900s and yet has barely been used. But now its time has come, it'll be a wonderful sheet to sleep with, sweet dreams guaranteed I think.
The return features a fabulous monogram of the letters PL surrounded by a painstakingly worked deep ladder and then edged with such pretty lace; it even has three dimensional little spots at the centre.
And of course, if you can resist putting it on your bed, it would make a fabulous curtain with the decoration turned over at the top and the linen billowing beneath.
An unused piece with no damage or wear, it is in excellent condition. The colour is a putty-beige-off white which will lighten as the sheet is laundered. Just a couple of marks in the body of the sheet which should fade out as the sheet is soaked and washed.
