Another beautiful hand worked sheet; this buying trip has brought some fabulous treasures, we have shelves of beautiful pieces to show you.
This is a weighty vintage French pure linen sheet with a slightly "country" feel, a slubby weave. The cutwork decoration is delightful and takes so many hours to complete, this is quite an heirloom piece. Central monogram of the letters RT set within the deep scalloped floral return. Gorgeous! Please take a good look at the photos to see all the marvellous details of the decoration.
Freshly laundered and ready for use. One small weave imperfection or nick as shown, I don't think there's anything else. Colour is a very pale grey-white.
(As always with an antique or vintage piece, there may be a tiny little nick, mark or imperfection that we haven't spotted but I don't think so.)
