Item Description
This is a fabulous early 1900s French pure weighty linen sheet. The monogram of the letters AJ is beautiful and set above a hem encrusted with top quality embroidery featuring cutwork and rembourée decoration - this is antique French bed linen at its very best.
I have just laundered this gorgeous piece and it is ready for use. No wear, no damage, no marks, it has barely been used. In the current weather I'd put it straight on the bed; sweet dreams assured!
Weighty linen, densely woven but smooth and cool to the touch. Colour is a soft pale grey-white.
(As always with an antique or vintage piece, there may be a tiny little nick or imperfection that we haven't spotted but I don't think so.)
