Item Description
A beautiful fine white linen sheet with elegant applique decoration of leaves and a central monogram again in applique work of the letters ME. I marvel at the work of these wonderful pieces, they're really quite special and this one is quite unusual.
This is very wide - a rarity! Some of my photos are a little yellow but the sheet is indeed a proper white.
This is a light weight (by vintage French linen standards) linen which will be so comfortable to sleep under or will make a delightful billowy curtain. The applique work will be shown off so beautifully with the light filtering through the linen.
A handful of pin holes, one darn and a flaw along the centre, as shown and price accordingly. Otherwise the linen is in very good condition with no thinning.
As with any antique or vintage piece there may be a tiny mark or minuscule nick I haven't spotted but if that is the case, it will be very small indeed.
