Item Description
This is quite a sheet! It dates to around the 1930s-40s and has never been used. It is heavy weight (over 2 kg) but could certainly still be used as bedding. But for me, this amazing fabric is perfect for curtains, blinds, tablecloths, curtains, sofa throws, the list really does go on and on! So, great for all manner of interiors projects and perfect for high use areas where it will need to be washed.
Attractive drawn thread hem and monogram of the letters AM worked in a pale pink cross stitch.
These linen sheets from between the wars are such excellent quality - real heirloom pieces to be treasured. But also to be used, this fabric will last for decades.
An unused piece with no damage or wear, it is in excellent condition. The linen is an unbleached pale creamy beige which will lighten with laundering. Just a few light marks which will be dealt with as the sheet is laundered and some spot marks which will most likely remain; part of its story. Laundry notes supplied with purchase.
