Item Description
This is an unused vintage French linen metis sheet in a lovely pale milky white colour. And it is extra wide - these are RARE!!
Good quality linen metis with simple plain hems. Linen metis is a linen weft and cotton warp, it has been much prized by the French for generations for its quality and longevity.
Tightly woven and sturdy but not thick or heavy. A lovely comfortable weight for bedding but this will also make a great curtain or blind or can be used for upholstery, loose covers or a tablecloth etc.
Unused and never laundered. Some storage marks on the outside fold lines which are to be expected. These will fade away as the sheet is laundered. Colour is a creamy white (not as yellow as some of my photos.)
