Charming set of 4 mid 20th Century Pearsons of Chesterfield light green glaze pottery vases, stamped to the base on each one. In lovely original and very good condition.
These hold water and are perfect for placing along a dining table as not too large at 15cm tall x 10cm diameter at base and 8cm at top.
Can place flowers, candles and other seasonal decoration in them.
Bio:
The pottery tradition in Whittington, Chesterfield dates back to 1810. The Pearson family operated local coal and clay mines, officially forming Pearson & Co. (Chesterfield) Ltd. in 1922. It was the last operating pottery in the Chesterfield area before closing in 1994.
