Item Description
An eighteenth century, creamware plate hand painted with the arms of the Farriers. This is unmarked but it is probably made by the Neale pottery as this was one of the borders that is recorded to have been used by them. It dates from c.1790. It is lightly potted and the central crest, which is painted in brown enamels, is the arms of the order of Farriers. The border is painted in black and iron red and is quite striking. The plate is in excellent condition.
We have three of these in stock and they are all in the same condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 25cm. Depth 2.4cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A add £30. Most of Western Europe add £15.
