Item Description
An eighteenth century, polychrome, Dutch Delft charger. This dates from c.1780. It is boldly decorated, in iron red, blue, green and yellow, with a central design including oriental style flowers and bamboo. Around this are small flower sprigs and a narrow, geometric border. There is some flaking to the glaze, around the rim, which can be seen in the image and is typical of Delft due to the soft nature of the glaze. Otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 34.6cm. Depth 5.8cm.
