Item Description
A late 19th century, cast iron, shell shaped croustade iron. Croustade irons are now becoming popular with chefs, and various modern examples are available, but it is rare to find a period example and this one dates from c.1890. It is made from cast iron and has an oak handle with a brass collar. It is in excellent condition.
