Item Description
A good quality, late nineteenth century, French copper stockpot. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1890. It has the typical, nicely shaped, French form of brass handles to both sides and also to the lid. It is stamped with a number “26” to the side of the pot and also to the lid and this relates to the diameter in centimetres. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pot 26.5cm. Overall width of pot including the handles 35.8cm. Depth of pot 26.8cm. Overall height including the handle 30cm.
