Item Description
A 19th century, English copper jelly mould with central pipe. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number “221”. To the opposite side is a workman’s mark in the shape of a circle. The mould is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1870. The design consists of seven angular columns each with a pointed, hexagonal top. There are some very small dents to the sides and tops of the columns and the tinning, to the interior, is a little flakey.
Dimensions: Diameter 14.5cm. Height 11.2cm.
