Item Description
A good quality, 19th century, English copper mould. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number “50” and to the opposite end is a workman’s mark in the shape of a fleur de lys. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and dates from c.1870. The design consist of eight columns with swags, and there are eight small domes to the top which radiate out from a central dome. There are a couple of very small dents to the sides but otherwise it is in good condition. The tinning has been stripped from the interior. This is a lovely design which would display well either on a shelf or hanging on a wall.
