Item Description
An eighteenth century, polychrome, Dutch Delft charger. This is very boldly decorated, in bright shades of blue, green, iron red, and ochre, with a bird in a garden. To the rim is a very random border design. The charger dates from c.1780 and is in good condition. There is a large chip to the foot rim which can be seen in the image, and there is the usual wear to the glaze, on the rim, which one would expect on a piece of 18th century Delft.
Dimensions: Diameter: 34cm. Depth 6.4cm.
