Item Description
A nineteenth century, three tiered, creamware jelly mould. This is impressed “COPELAND & GARRETT”. Copeland and Garrett ran the Spode pottery from 1833 to 1844 so this dates from c.1830. The mould is quite lightly potted and the creamware body has a rich, yellow glaze. There are a couple of tiny flakes to the glaze, on the corners of the tiers, and there is a small amount of kiln grit in the glaze, but otherwise the mould is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Length 20cm. Width 12.7cm. Height 9.4cm.
