Item Description
An early 19th century, French copper, double ended spatula. This is made from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1830. It is quite unusual to have the narrow spatula as well as the more usual shaped example. Originally this would have been covered in tin but most of this has been removed, revealing the copper beneath. There are still slight traces of the tin visible. There is pitting to the copper, from use, but otherwise it is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Length 49.7cm. Width 8cm. Thickness of copper (at centre of handle) 0.5cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £40. Most of Western Europe add £10.
