Item Description
A superb, nineteenth century, French crystal liqueur set comprising two decanters and ten glasses complete with tray. This is made by St. Louis and dates from c.1860. The green glass decanters and glasses have a finely textured finish which is raised and consists of a geometric design. This is then encrusted in gold with cornucopias and garlands and various border designs. The overall effect is quite stunning and the crystal is of the finest quality. The tray is heavier, as would be needed, it also has a textured finish and a simple gilt rim. All pieces are in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Tray: Length 33cm. Width 25.2cm. Depth 3cm. Decanters: Height 27cm. Diameter 7cm. Glasses: Height 12.8cm. Diameter at the foot 5cm. Diameter at the rim 3.5cm.
