Item Description
A late 19th century, French copper gratin dish with fixed steel handles. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used. This type of dish is ideal for making vegetable bakes or dauphinoise potatoes as they can be used for cooking and then taken straight to the table. This example is also large enough for baking a small fish.
