Item Description
An unusual, 19th century, French copper mould with a huntsman to the top. This is stamped with the cockerel, which is the symbol used by the French company Letang, beneath a pattern number “370”. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, has castellated seams, and it dates from c.1870. The design shows a huntsman with a dead bird in his hand and his gun strapped to his back. This is very well modelled, with excellent detail, and to the sides is an attractive, architectural border. The mould is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, bright, usable condition.
Dimensions: Length 15cm. Width 11cm. Height 11cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
