Item Description
A good quality, nineteenth century steel sugar or ice cleaver in the shape of a fox. This is French and it dates from c.1880. The handle is made from copper and is attached with copper rivets which are so well finished that they barely show. The fox is naively shaped and has a copper rivet as an eye. There is some pitting to the blade, from use, but otherwise the piece is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 17cm. Length 29cm. Width of handle 1cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £30. Most of Western Europe add £15.
