Item Description
A large, 19th century, French copper grain measure. This is of plain, drum form and it dates from c.1860. It is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper. The copper has a slightly planished finish to the central section with a smoother rim and base. There is slight marking to the copper, from use, and there is denting to the hollow handles, which can be seen in the images, but generally it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Height 25.2cm. Diameter 35.7cm. Width across the handles 42.5cm.
