Item Description
A large, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, baluster shaped vase. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a number “9”, which relates to its height in inches, and a letter A. It is decorated, in white relief, with four different scenes from classical mythology, set between anthemion. To the neck of the vase is a band of grapes and vine leaves. The reliefs are all very good quality and the jasper dip is a lovely, rich shade of blue. The vase in excellent condition.
