Item Description
A large, nineteenth century, Wedgwood, dust pressed, block printed picture tile. This is marked, in the casting to the reverse “JOSIAH WEDGWOOD & SONS ETRURIA” and it dates from c.1880. It is from the series depicting the months of the year, which was designed in 1878, and this example is printed in brown with “April”. There is a small chip to the bottom, right hand corner and another to the top, right hand corner.
Dimensions: 20.5cm. square.
