Item Description
An oval copper fish or frying pan with a silvered interior. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1900. There is a triangular mark to the base which, over the years, has been polished, and it is now quite difficult to make out. However, you can make out the words Paris and Metal and Goode and Co. Goode and Co were a London based retailer so this would have been made in Paris for retail in London. It is in excellent condition. Because the interior is silver, rather than tin, it does not wear in the same way and this is still in very good, original condition.
Dimensions: Length of pan 28.2cm. Width 17.3cm. Depth 4.2cm. Overall length of pan and handle 39.5cm.
