Item Description
A pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a basket of plums. This is marked, on one side of the hinge, “JONES BROS DOWN ST. PICCADILLY LONDON” and in the casting it is marked “820 BIS”. This would be the pattern number. It dates from c.1900. The moulding is well detailed and would turn out very well. It is in excellent condition. The interior is still in very good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has a pale, shiny patina.
