Item Description
A small pewter ice cream mould in the shape of three mandarins. This is stamped “LETANG FILS PARIS 108 RUE VIELLE DU TEMPLE” and the exterior is marked “L.G” in the casting. Letang were one of the leading French manufacturers of kitchenware in the 19th century and the mould dates from c.1880. The mandarins are very well detailed and would turn out well. It is in excellent condition. The interior is in very good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has a dark patina.
Dimensions: Length 11cm. Width 5.5cm. Depth when closed 2.5cm.
