Item Description
A small, pewter ice cream mould which would turn out three small squash. This is marked, in the casting, “C.C” and “941”. C.C is the mark of the French company Cadot and 941 is the pattern number. It is also marked “BREVETE S.G.D.G”. The mould dates from c.1880. The squash are simple, but naturalistic, and the mould is in good condition. The interior is in good, usable condition and the exterior has a dark patina.
Dimensions: Length 10.5cm. Width 5.2cm. Depth when closed 3.5cm.
