Item Description
A small pewter ice cream mould in the shape of an onion. The shape of this mould is very simple and quite difficult to work out exactly what it is meant to be. It would probably be more obvious if it were turned out. The mould is marked, in the casting, with the initials “VV”. This is the mark of the manufacturer but it is not one that we have come across before. It dates from c.1880. It is in good, usable condition and the exterior has quite a dark patina. Dimensions: Length 6.7cm. Width 4.8cm. Depth 5.2cm. Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £10. Most of Western Europe add £5.
