Item Description
A fabulous set of six, French, ruby red crystal, hollow stem champagne coupes. These are made from good quality, heavy crystal and they date from c.1890. They have a large, thumbnail cut to the underside of the bowls and the stems are eight sided. The stems are slightly irregular as some are hollow right to the base but others are not fully hollow. This is most noticeable due to the way the colour goes down in the stem and is due to the fact that they are hand blown. They are all in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 12.7cm. Diameter at the rim 9.3cm. Diameter at the foot 7.8cm. There are marginal differences in the sizes as they are hand blown.
