Item Description
A super quality, eighteenth century, round bottomed, creamware jelly mould with a Prince of Wales Feathers to the base. This is unmarked but it is English and it dates from c.1780. It is really well potted, from a fine quality creamware, and there is excellent detail and depth to the design. There is a short, fine hairline crack in the rim which runs the length of the outer, fluted border (1.5cm.). Otherwise, it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 9cm. Depth 4.5cm.
