Item Description
An unusual, small, pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a grenade. This is marked, in the casting, “JONES BROS. DOWN ST. W.” and it also has the pattern number “824”. It dates from c.1880. It would have been made for a military club and used for their functions. It is well detailed to the interior and would turn out very well. It is in excellent condition. The exterior has quite a dark patina and the interior is in very good, bright, usable condition.
Dimensions: Length 6.5cm. Width 6.2cm. Depth when closed 4.4cm.
