Item Description
A small, 19th century, pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a strawberry. This is stamped “LETANG FILS PARIS 108 RUE VIELLE DU TEMPLE” and the exterior is marked “L.G 1690” in the casting. Letang were one of the leading French manufacturers of kitchenware in the 19th century and the mould dates from c.1880. The strawberry is well detailed and would turn out well. The mould is in excellent condition. The interior is in very good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has a dark patina.
Dimensions: Length 6.8cm. Width 5.8cm. Depth when closed 4.5cm.
