Item Description
An unusually small, steel cleaver in the shape of a fox. This is quite primitively shaped and the handle, which is made from fibre block, is attached by steel rivets. It is French and dates from c.1910. This type of cleaver was generally made for use with sugar or ice but, being so small, this example would be totally impractical. It could possibly have been made for a child. There is slight pitting to the steel blade but otherwise it is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Length 19cm. Height 8.3cm. Width of handle 1.2cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £15. Most of Western Europe add £8.
