Item Description
A small, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip spill vase. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a number ”4” which relates to the height in inches. It is decorated, in white relief, with Apollo and one of the Muses standing between trees and foliage. To the rim is a border of scrolls and flowers. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. The vase is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 10cm. Diameter 5.8cm.
