Item Description
A small, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip copy of the Portland Vase. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. There is also an impressed number “2” and an indistinct workman’s mark in the shape of a flower. Wedgwood produced copies of the Portland vase in many different colours and sizes ranging from miniatures to the full size, ten inch version. They are not very common in this small size. The reliefs are all very good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. The vase is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 10.2cm. Diameter 7cm.
